mama thiessen's visit pt II

with it's cute little ampelmaenner and history galore, mom and i headed to the german capital on our next weekend adventure. we watched a german movie in a tiny theatre near alex platz, hopped on a boat ride along the spree river, sat in echte east german movie theatre seats in the gdr museum, learned about east german escape attempts in the checkpoint charlie museum, ate some currywurst, drank lots of starbucks, etc etc. was a little camera happy, so here are some of the goods for you.
