turkey

turkey started off like any other adventure: trains, airports, foreign sights and sounds etc. turkey turned into the kind of vacation you never want to have: visits to non-english speaking doctors, hospitals, stomach virus, food poisoning...you get the idea. not good.
but before it all went wrong, molly, tara, shawn and i did a little exploring, shopping, and turkish bathing in istanbul! in typical tourist style, we visited the grand bazaar, blue mosque, hagia sophia etc. also had a lovely evening with fellow peg city girl, leah, and her history loving boyfriend, ovunc.
i spent 5 out of our 6 days at the beach feeling like death in bed, so not too many pics of olympos. i'm posting almost every picture i took in turkey.

and i was the one puking all night. it's not right.

by the last day in olympos i had enough energy to change out of my pjs. then i walked to a couch where i could sit like this until i was too tired to do even that and went back to bed.
